Can I download your videos?
Yes. Our Videos are Windows Media Video (.wmv) files. They are zipped up, ready to download to your computer. There is no streaming, just downloads.
Can I cancel my membership at any time?
Yes you can. Winstructor is unique in that we dont sell you a single product and part company, we offer an automatically recurring subscription which means that you will always have access to our newest videos. As long as you cancel your membership before your resubscription date, you will not be charged any additional payments. You can cancel your account from within the member pages or directly from your PayPal or WorldPay Account. If you have troubles cancelling, please email our support and we can cancel it for you.
Why do some Products have more videos in than others?
Unlike our competitors that charge you for a single product, we offer memberships to access our entire content. We also prefer to release videos as they are ready. This has 2 benefits.
1. You get the videos as soon as each of them are ready.
2. We can update videos rapidly as the IT World changes. We react, you get the updates.
Simple and NO Waiting for the entire product line to be finished. We do however generally only release a new product when we have at least 5 completed videos available.
We update ALL Video Product lines as new videos are produced, not just the extremely popular ones. Remember, you can also submit a request for a video, which we will take into consideration.
What are these Portable Training Videos all about?
Since people are now more mobile than ever before, it makes it harder to find the time to sit down to watch training. For this reason we have made our entire library of training available in mp4 format for you to transfer to your portable device like your iPod, Phone, PDA and countless other portable devices. That way, you can watch our training wherever you are, on the train to work, whilst flying, at a customers site, wherever you want.
And the best news is, that it doesnt cost any extra. If you are a member of our site, you can access the portable videos as well as the regular high quality videos. Its your choice.
Why do you offer a membership instead of selling me a CD based package?
We did a lot of investigation before deciding on this business model. The main thing we found when comparing our offering with our competitors, is that they send you a cd then you are on your own. With IT being so dynamic you really need updates to remain current.
This model allows us to react to the ever-changing world of IT and deliver these changes to you quickly.
I don't have a lot of bandwidth to be downloading videos, can I get your product on CD or DVD?
Yes. Although we recommend that people download videos from our server, we do have a CD or DVD option available. The disadvantage to choosing this model is that by the time the media arrives at your doorstep, it is generally already out of date as new videos are likely to have been released. You can request CD or DVD media when you subscribe. Please bear in mind that there is a $24.95 surcharge on top of your normal membership fee for this option.
If you take this option we recommend that once you receive the media, you download the remaining videos as they are released to keep your collection current.
Why should I buy your products over xxx or xxx?
Firstly, both of those companies make very good products, make no mistake and we encourage you to check them out. However, we believe we have 3 advantages over them both.
Firstly, our pricing is so much lower than theirs. Hundreds of dollars less in most cases. Secondly, our membership model allows us to quickly update your collection as new ideas and technologies emerge. And finally, with their products, if you buy for example, a copy of Windows XP training, that is exactly what you get. If you subscribe to our membership plan, you get Windows Server 2003, Citrix Metaframe XP, Exchange Server 2003 and so on. In other words, if we release a new video, or a new video series, ALL of our 3 Month and 12 Month library members can download it at no extra cost.

Yes, we would certainly appreciate your input. We would much rather produce videos that our members want, rather than what we think they need.

Are your updates really free?
Absolutely! Whilst you are a current member of a product, then all subsequent video updates to that product will cost you nothing. If you are a 3 Month or 12 Month member, then every new video released will be able to be downloaded by you immediately.
Do you specifically produce videos on how to pass the Microsoft Exams?
Yes, we do produce videos that map to Microsoft's MCSE Exam Objectives. We believe if you study and understand these videos that you will do well on those exams. We have many member testimonials that tell us they passed their Microsoft Exams using our videos.
It is our goal to give you the knowledge to become better systems administrators. Passing an exam is easy, but it doesn't necessarily mean you are competent enough to do a good job. With our rapidly growing video library, we believe we are giving you the experience to really improve your career and master the technology.
