In this Video we explain what Application Pools are and show
you how to configure Application Pools to form boundaries around
your IIS Applications.
With the introduction of Application Pools, IIS 6 now is able to separate processes owned by an application from other processes owned by another application.
This means that if a process hangs or crashes, IIS can continue running allowing you to shut down the offending process and leave your other websites still running and unaffected.
