The Distributed File System, or DFS allows you to manage shares
dispersed over your enterprise by bringing them all into one
share point. You can think of this as one DFS Share that contains
all of your other shares, or perhaps a single list of all of
your shares.
With DFS, all you need to remember is the name of the DFS Server
and the DFS Root Share Name and you're set.
DFS is a fantastic feature of Windows Server 2003 and has been
improved from the version of DFS that arrived in Windows 2000
Server.
In this video, we show you how to make DFS Work in your Organization!
