In this Video we Introduce you to DNS and its hierarchical structure. When you first install DNS on Windows Server 2003, it automatically knows how to resolve hostnames.

When we show you how to install DNS, we also demonstrate its ability to resolve host names immediately by using Network Monitor to analyze the packets going from our DNS Server out to the Internet and watching as they return with the IP Address of the hostname we were searching for.
